My point was, you can't say so and so did it the right way, but this team did it the wrong way. Anyway you do it, it's the right way.
 
Truth of the matter is, the Heat have had great short term success, but LeBron can opt, Bosh can opt, Pat Riley could retire, they owe a potential lottery pick to another team, and a declining Dwyane Wade is probably going to opt in for another 2 years at 20+ mill annually. Their future is potentially looking grim.
 
There is risk/reward and upside/downside to every form of team building.
