Just when I think the Tigers are in trouble they show signs of being decent.. I just cannot get a read on this team, I have no clue what's gonna happen or what to expect...

The Indians have a chance to get to within 2.5 games of the wild card today, and I can't believe I'm typing that. They have looked done at least 15 times this year

I have zero confidence in Rick Porcello if he has to start a playoff game.

Both the Indians & Rays are on pace to break the single season record for strikeouts by a pitching staff.

Brad Ausmus lets Holiday hit because "The 6th Inning is too early to pinch hit"

The Klubot has struck out at least 2 batters an inning in 13 consecutive innings

Why the fuck would you EVER pinch hit Zeke Carerra, let alone in the 9th inning of a game where you're in striking distance.

Big day, Indians have a chance to get within 1.5 games of the Royals, and at the very least gain half a game on the Athletics and Mariners.

Mariners have been struggling and have the Jays and Angels up next, Athletics have the Angels for a 3 game set, and then the Rangers who just swept them not too long ago.

Needless to say, Indians have to sweep the Royals here, and probably the Rays too. At least 2 out of 3 from them. Not impossible, but maybe not likely. With their pitching rotation, anything can happen. They could also collapse given how young they are.

The Indians can be a fairly dangerous team in a playoff series. So many power arms, can shut down lineups. Have to get there first tho.

Also, Michael Brantley is getting top 5 consideration for MVP voting, and if you told me that before the season I would have called you an idiot.

Delaying the surgery does seem kind of short sighted, that I don't really get behind.

Unrelated though, I think it's a travesty that the Mets told Matt Harvey to slow down his rehabilitation a while ago.

It's a move that might make sense if they could win a World Series but they aren't even making the playoffs

Loved having Brantley on my fantasy team this year, he contributed all year for me.

Brad Ausmus can't manage: 9/22/14 edition

- Starts a double A pitcher instead of David Price who is on normal rest.
- Lets Zeke Carerra play center in a game that actually matters.
- Hits and runs in the 1st inning with the heart of his lineup coming up.
