There was once man named Ausmus
A Dartmouth grad, he though he was a Bossmus
He put Romine, Holaday and Kelly in the same line-up
Against a shit Twins team he got shined up
And now we know him as Lossmus
I understand some of the ridicule against him. But he is a rookie manager, taking control of a team with very high expectations while still being a very flawed team. Not to mention we are still in 1st place.

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

This dude Steven Moya who got called up when the rosters expanded to 40 is in the dugout with a notepad and a pen taking notes.

He's preparing to NOT hit for Andrew Romine/Don Kelly again tonight.

And btw Ausmus' comments after the game last night were some of the stupidest I've seen.

It's the Ausmus disease.  He made Price suck by getting too close to him.

Why is Holaday playing instead of McCann again? He can't hit and he's horrible behind the dish.

This Tigers team just isn't very good as others here have stated all year. My expectations aren't high at all, I'm not sure they hold on to the division. Lets put it this way, it won't surprise me if they miss the playoffs altogether.

It's sad that the Tigers are even in this position considering the payroll differential, the veteran experience factor and everything else that says they should be above and beyond the Royals, but it is what it is.  We'll know what is going to happen in this division by dinner time on Sunday after the Tigers play three nationally televised games in Kansas City.  Pathetic that it's come down to this.

So another 5 year plan or something?

i would say it could be done in 3 years, if done right. future is bright when it comes to good young arms, would need to stockpile on position player prospects.

but of course these bastards from rogers are to retarded to realize that aa has poor baseball knowledge. so we have to settle for possible another year mediocrity.

You'll really enjoy the day if they ever become part of MLSE.

I mean if the Tigers doesn't hold on to the Division lead the Wild card is pretty much there for the taking vice versa for the Royals.

In other news today. Ron Washington says the real reason he resigned from the Rangers was because he cheated on his wife.
