Blows my mind the Angels have won 93 games... I thought they were in trouble when Richards went down, I guess not..

Hoping the Orioles lock up the division this series.

Might be about to see a brawl haha

I like Marcus Stroman but throwing at anyone's head is a bitch-ass move.

Fuck the Blow Jays

DeGrom pitching out of his goddamn mind.

Struck out the first 8 batters he faced. 13 Ks through 7 innings.

The Twins have just given up, it's kinda sad.

DeGrom is the only one I believe will be magnificent as a starter for the Mets (don't know if Mejia will ever be a starter again)

Harvey DeGrom Wheeler Syndergaard Niese will be a helluva rotation next year.

Harvey will be fine.

And Mejia should be our full-time closer next year. Still young and absolutely nowhere for him to go in our rotation with a starting 5 that doesn't even include Montero, Colon & Gee. Goddamn I love our pitching depth.

I think if the players in the Twins locker room had a choice, they would love to ruin the Tigers season and see the Royals in.  Unfortunately, they have no choice and the total mismanagement of having an adequate pitching staff does not give them a choice in the matter.  I don't think they're quitting, I just think they don't have the requisite talent.

Yet another reason why Max is not worth his upcoming contract.

Came in here to say the same exact thing.

Don't get me wrong, great pitcher and I will miss him. But he is very flawed for a dude who is going to command that type of money.

I think you guys are insane.  Max is a great starting pitcher and his metrics over the past two calender years are insane.  He's a very smart and cerebral pitcher.  His shit is filthy.  No idea why any Tiger fan would want to let him go instead of giving him a blank check.

I'd give him what we offered in the off-season, but with what we are paying JV and Anibal, and what we are going to have to pay Porcello now, there is no room for a blank check.

Also I know we made fun of Romine, but he has actually played some pretty solid ball out there lately.

If the asset is worth the capital, then it's a positive asset.

Dan Gilbert will own the team soon.  I just hope he has some interaction with the Ilitch's and there's hope to keep Max.

Fuck the Blow Jays. Trashy organization. I lost any respect I had tonight. Can't wait to clinch tomorrow.
