The legend of the miracle child Max continues.  For the past two seasons, the team has given Max unreal run support.  They pour on buckets of runs while Max is putting the other team to sleep.  Can't give Price or Porcello 3 runs to save their lives, but here's 13 Max, np.
 
This has happened for the past 300 games.  Why does a team hit so much better when a certain SP is on the mound rather than the rest?  It's not a coincidence at this point, it's a clear historical trend.  They would rock prime Roger Clemens for 8 runs if Max was on the mound but would struggle to put up two against Luke Hochevar if it were Porcello pitching.
 
Someone enlighten me because I don't fucking get it at all.

Can't believe Victor is on pace for around 30 HRs this season. Don't really know where we would be without him. Much more crucial to the team than Miguel has been all season.

He's like 60 years old.  He's retiring.  And it's a complete embarrassment that he's the best player on this fucking 170 million dollar roster.
