The one great thing the Tigers have going for them is this version of Victor Martinez is the best hitter Miggy has ever had protecting him.  If they do make the postseason, I expect Miggy can only play better, and teams will be very reluctant to just put him on base.  When the guy behind him swings, he only misses contact with the baseball 10% of the time and he's probably the most technical hitter in baseball right now.

Breaking news: Rick Porcello picked the wrong season to become a beast.  How are they even going to re-sign him to the 12-15 per he's going to command?
 
Rick and Max both walk?
 
Honestly, if you tell me I can have one or the other, I can have Rick on 12.5 per season or Max at 25 per season, I need a little while to think about it.

Today's game pretty much embodies the 125 Tigers games this season, and is a perfect example of why this season makes me want to go start up my car in the closed garage and hang out in it for awhile.
