If someone put a gun to my head though and told me to pick the winner in a Tigers/A's ALCS, I'd say A's in about half a second.  Shit, I don't even know if the Tigers could survive the ALDS against the Orioles.

It's not by lack of effort by the front office.  When things happen like Bruce Rondon becomes a TJ victim, Joe Nathan is signed and becomes ultra Jose Valverde, you trade for Joakim Soria and he gets knocked out for a 15 day, Phil Coke makes no sort of progression to become a serviceable lefty, the son of the owner doesn't let you re-sign Benoit, and Al Al doesn't make another step to establish some sort on pitch control, do you think Dombrowski just buries his head in the sand and drinks himself to sleep every night?  I probably would if I were him.  This season's bullpen has basically been if it can go wrong, it will go wrong.

Joe Nathan just loves taking shots at the fans. Well guess what Joe, if you actually did your job, you know like what you are being paid big money to do, you wouldn't be getting booed. He comes across as an arrogant prick, never takes responsibility for anything. I really can't tolerate the guy, it's all about him.

I'm honestly at the point where I have to turn the game off when Nathan comes in.  He makes me so fucking furious.  When Todd Jones and Jose Valverde went through this, at least I knew they cared and were mad at themselves.  Joe Nathan doesn't give one single shit.
