You are just scared of having to face the Tigers in the playoffs, that's what it is! Typical BB

Why would i be scared. Y'all can only get to reach for the Brass ring just so it can disappear lol.

Alright, what do the Royals have that's better other than bullpen?

All their starters have better ERA's than Verlander does that count lol.

He's been pitching better as of late. I expect that ERA to go down. In his last 4 starts the most runs he has given up is 3. He's not pitching as bad as his ERA indicates. He's definitely not the Verlander of old but he's pitching decent. Kansas City has a few nice pieces in their starting rotation. Bullpen is by far better. This is what Kansas City does though. They suck for a month, then they go on a hot streak for a decent period of time and then it's back to not winning. They just can't seem to stay consistently good for a long period of time. There's no doubt about it, their year is coming. Don't think it will be this year, at least hope not. Shouldn't be.

Both teams have holes in their lineups too. Bullpens mean a lot in September/playoffs

They only have 3 starters
Carl Crawford regularly hits 5th

Joe Nathan after blowing his 6th save yesterday:

"This is not going to ruin my day. It's not going to do anything like that. I'm going to still go get some dinner, go to sleep, wake up and do it again ... I know the fans sometimes make it seem like if we're not perfect as bullpen guys, we're not doing our job. ... It's not that easy, and we're not robots. And I'm not going to go home and hang my head because of one game. The fans make it seem like if we're not perfect, we're not doing our job."

Seriously?  Fuck you, dude.

Oh yeah, and Joakim Soria is going on the 15 day DL and Anibal Sanchez is out for 3 to 4 weeks with a pectoral muscle injury.

Give the Royals like a week and they'll start doing Royals things again.

I'm really curious as to why Eric Hosmer was so highly thought of and so highly ranked as a prospect before he got the call years ago. Did people expect his power to develop more than it has? Because he really wasn't even much of a home run hitter in the minors. Don't get me wrong, he's a solid player, but really, not even a borderline all-star, especially for a first baseman.
