David Price? Not really..
you're basing it off his era. he's been striking out 10+/9 and not walking a lot of batters. his hr/9 will regress to the mean.

Wins/losses is a better one though
wins and losses can be fluky

Run diff tells you more in depth how good a team is

I mean he's been pitching better lately, but on the season I wouldn't say he's been great by any means. I understand his K's are outrageous right now but that's just one aspect of pitching.

you are sleeping on him. he's better than what his era indicates

i can tell you now that his era will look a lot better at the end of the season.

Wins-loss is definitely flukey. If your team is randomly winning one run games and never losing them, it's an indicator of luck. As opposed to a better team who isn't getting as lucky in those 1 run affairs, but normally more dominant.

Regardless its a combination of both. Run differential can be skewed by a random 10 run victory

Oh duh, like I said he's already started picking it up. It's David freaking Price haha, he didn't win the Cy Young on a fluke. But up until recently he hadn't been pitching great by any means

He's had good peripherals all season long. His numbers have just been regressing to the mean.
