I would prefer not having Phil Coke or Danny Worth in the bullpen let alone a tight game. If we have to resort to Danny Worth, we are in pretty bad shape.

Part of me was worried about puig. I thought last year might have been a little lucky and he might struggle this year

I'd guess Dombrokski doesn't wanna get rid of him because of how he pitched in the World Series run but his time as a Tiger has passed.

Cmonnnnnnn man.  He threw 20 pitches!  You can't honestly think that.  Teams would get a feel for how his knuckle moves, adjust, and after three more one inning appearances, his stat line would be lit up like a Christmas tree.

That isn't why they haven't gotten rid of him.  He's as good as gone when Hanrahan is ready to join the team, so don't worry, the Phil Coke Experience is ending soon.

I can't figure out why they've kept him this long, it really is puzzling and embarrassing. 
 

 
Well the left handed arms in the bullpen were a mystery entering the season as Smyly was back in the rotation and nobody was sure what to expect of Krol.  It became apparent Krol could be trusted, but then who was Coke being replaced with when DFA'ed?  The best bullpen options in the system were delicate and young and guys the team wasn't willing to bring up until they felt they were good and ready.  They've now felt that with Knebel, and now he's here, and now Coke is biding time until Hanrahan takes his roster spots.
 
And it's a miracle, Romine just hit a home run!
