I think I've watched 3 hours of SportsCenter in the past 12 months.

Yes I'm more proud of myself than I should be.

I think once a week I hear somebody I know complain about SportsCenter's coverage, or their headlines, or whatever it is. But they keep going back. It's like crack.

I still don't understand why there is such a negative stigma to watching SportsCenter. I watch it daily.
I don't form any of my opinions about sports from there, but I do like getting my daily updates/information from there.

Problem is a lot of people do form an opinion based on SportsCenter.

I think it's more that, people get sick of seeing SportsCenter's "next topics list" show like 8 things about LeBron. It's more about how they focus way too much on certain athletes/stories.

Just the way media works. They have to talk about popular athletes to keep the viewers coming. Ala First Take when Tebow-mania was relevant.
Obviously not right, but just how it goes.

For me, it's either ESPN or FS1. And FS1 sucks so lol. I don't have NBCSN.

Yea I got that. They don't have that round the clock coverage the others do but some of their stuff is damn good.

And unfortunately thats not how the media has to work. Everyone hated Tebow-mania and how much First Take talked about it. They're actually losing both viewers and credibility with their inability to have balanced coverage and their constant "let's jam something down their throats" coverage.

That and Charissa Thompson left. And that John Coachman guy has such a punchable voice. I never knew a voice could be punchable until I heard him for the first time.

I don't have any stats to back it up, but I'm fairly sure First Take's ratings went up during the Tebow coverage.

I know, but still. Got viewers.

Anywho, bases loaded for Avila with 0 outs. I predict a double play.
