Make that 8 straight. Winning is fun, lets hope they keep it going! I really like how this team isn't depending on all power to score runs now. Starting pitching has been good, they've been more aggressive than ever on the bases and they are just getting good timely hits with pretty solid defensive play.
Teams just jelling really well right now. Hopefully it continues against some better opponents though.

Coolest part of this team is the fact we are 2nd in the AL in stolen bases.

We have 25 right now, we only had 35 last season. That's insane lol

Granted we didn't have Davis and Kinsler last year, but still it's fun watching a team that can run.

Heh edited my post.

Davis has been one pleasant ass surprise this year. Doubt it lasts at all, but leads the team in BA right now lol.

That's the thing. Batting .338 against righties, compared to .304 to lefties. 40 more at bats against righties too.

391 bapib with the same peripherals as last year. I think he's due for a regression. Useful bench guy tho.

Colby Rasmus won't hit .260 and there's others in that lineup due for regression as well.

Fifth place team

You can have a great offense and be a 4th or 5th place team.

other than francisco, who else? lind and melky sure but it will be a slight regression. edwin and reyes will regress in a good way. and ive said this in the beginning of the season, the pitching will be the problem, the offense will do its thing.

plus you act like the o's are miles better than the jays. theyre not as special as you think.

spot on.

and just as long as colby is slugging, getting on base at an acceptable clip and playing solid d, he can easily put up a 3.5 war season like last year. avg is overrated.

I actually have little hope for the Orioles this year. They've played better than I expected but I think they'll end up 3rd or 4th. Might be good enough for a WC spot but who knows. The injuries to the Rays will help.

The Jays offense isn't bad but calling it great is a huge stretch. Even Bautista is probably due for a regression and he's one of my favorite players in the league. But still, you're talking about over half their lineup regressing to their norm and that can't be a good thing.

Did I ever say the Orioles were that great? I can't remember. I hope I didn't. I want to believe in the team but they'll probably end up letting me down like last year.

Ubaldo had another good start tonight though.

AL East is just so wide open it's crazy. Four teams all with legit chances of winning.
