Plus Francisco in 2010 had 1WAR while Napoli had 2.5.

If I need to win one game in the playoffs I'd take Verlander over almost anybody. Fernandez will throw up better stats in a season though

Nice to get 2 wins in Chicago. Worked out nicely with Verlander and Scherzer pitching but now we won't get Scherzer against the Royals. Only problem is now Porcello & Smyly will be pitching against the Royals for 2 of the 3 games.

Never said he wasn't, but there is no argument for him as the best pitcher in the MLB.  Kershaw's just flat out better than him.
