While I don't think the Mariners are going to be any good, pitching definitely won't be the reason.  Hishashi Iwakuma is really fucking good, he's hurt right now, but he'll be back.  Taijuan Walker should be up soon as well, he's gonna be filthy

I'm so jealous of the Pirates OF situation.  Second best CF in the game in Andrew McCutchen, another really good CF in Starling Marte that they play in LF, then they've got another CF in the minors in Gregory Polanco who's going to end up in right.

Paxton gave up back-to-back jacks early...settled in...then leaves with injury.  Iwa is good if and when healthy and we still don't know what to expect from Walker in the long run.  Too small of a sample size from Tijuan.

Funny thing is that we have Krol who's a better LOOGY than Coke, yet he's still on the team.

Apparently they changed the transfer rule in the MLB. If you don't secure the ball with your throwing hand and lose control on the transfer, even if you clearly caught it 3 seconds earlier, it's now not a catch.
