Could tell after the first inning he was going to have a rough outing.

Verlander was best when then biggest story about him was what he ate from Taco Bell before every start in his MVP season.  I'm totally convinced he can't handle ANY ancillary attention to being a star.  He started crashing once all of the dating Upton stuff started surfacing.  Been awhile since that.  He looked like he was finally coming around until tonight.  I'm willing to bet The Fappening ruined the rest of his season and maybe his career.

He's an idiot and a total asshole who has no perspective to weigh the things going on around him and manage them in his head.  I have Lamborghini, I have supermodel, me do this.  He's like Lenny in "Of Mice and Men".  Did I do a good job George?  No you fucking didn't.

With any hope, Upton will leave him and start dating Ryan Gosling, Verlander will be an alcoholic for a year, and then Verlander will be a decent 3rd SP to honor the end of this contract.

^hot sports take alert

His velocity is down and he hasn't adjusted. He' logged a ton of innings the last few years and it's showing.

Lol then ignore us. This is the discussion thread for a reason. We are discussing the game.
It's hard to ignore the fact that it's impossible to get a non-Detroit related discussion going because their fans just instantly change the topic back as if there weren't any other teams in the MLB.

I don't have anything to add to in game updates about games in which I am not watching so why would I reply to them?

Well, what a great win for the Tigers. The Tigers came to play tonight. The Tigers did take 3 of 4 from the Indians, which is good with the way they were playing coming into this series. Now the Tigers have San Fran coming to town, should be an interesting series. The Tigers need to play better at home. Hopefully the Tigers can keep this momentum going..

Oops, talking about the Tigers a bit too much..

Well, at least the Diamondbacks got a win tonight

I know yall want that game to be called in Detroit lol.

With any hope.  For some reason, the Giants always smash us.  I'd like it to storm until Monday morning.

Mets have scored 36 runs i nthe past 5 games, including tonight's game still going on.

I'm pretty sure there was a whole month this season where we didn't score 36 runs.
