I'm actually nervous to play this guy; haven't read a single negative sentence about his spring.  The numbers looks great, Grady says he feels great, no pressure, and scouts talking about him looking like he did before his injuries.

He's not suddenly less injury prone, and while he looks and feels good, his power isn't the same

BC, hes right

Hanley > Puig
Hes our best player next to Kershaw

Go look at his numbers last season
Shame he only played half a year. Still, 5 WAR in 86 games, slugged .638

Hes good

He hit a freaking bomb last night that nearly left dodger stadium. I know, whatever, i just wanted to say something

oh and hes a free agent

They tinkered with his swing anyways when he got here. Last year was insane, but he will still have a great year and the dodgers will have a good record = mvp convo

Trout settled. He could have waited and got 300M easily.

Not with multiple arbitration years left. If you want an extension before all your arbitration is up, you have to sacrifice money.

Real nice deal for the angels. I wonder what kinda money he'll get when he hits free agency.

And teagz I think this a wise decision for Trout regardless. He's pretty much set for life. He doesn't have to worry about anything financially even if he suffers a career ending knee injury or some shit like that.

And it lets him get two huge deals instead of one and a half

Hes still going to be under 30 for his next contract

Exciting player, should be good for a long, long time as long as no injuries arise. Still feel like it's a great deal for the Angels for such a special player, which will be his prime years as well..
