When Reimold went to the Blow Jays and started hitting well I was a little upset we let him go but just now I see he got hurt and I realize why it happened haha.

If you were a Tigers' fan who was feverishly submitting All-Star ballots to get Rick Porcello into the game and now you are disappointed today that he didn't get in, please punch yourself.

There's the obvious fact that he was never going to beat Chris Sale because he's not even close to deserving to beat Chris Sale.

There's also the fact that the Tigers need to re-sign this guy in the off-season and the last thing needed is an All-Star appearance to inflate that market value.  They are probably going to lose Scherzer and extend Porcello either way, but I don't need a frivolous All-Star appearance tacking another 1 mil on Porcello's yearly salary.

It was pretty funny to see how hard they were pushing that shit on twitter.

I was driving home from work a couple days ago and the Tigers' pregame show was on the radio.  Some PR guy from the Tigers organization was on and he was talking about how Tigers fans can vote for Rick as many times as they want but they should also vote for Anthony Rizzo of the Cubs because the Tigers and Cubs have an All Star voting spamming alliance.  I just face palmed.

I'll never understand how being an all star actually means much. It's the fans voting, most of whom don't realize teams exist outside of their division.

Segura leaves Brewers after son passes away

Brewers placed SS Jean Segura on the bereavement list.

Segura has left the Brewers and returned home to the Dominican Republic to deal with a family tragedy. Brewers manager Ron Roenicke announced Saturday that Segura's nine-month-old son passed away on Friday. Our deepest condolences go out to Segura and to his family at this unfortunate and tragic time.

That's terrible :(

There's a good possibility Ned Yost is the worst manager in the history of baseball.

54 games, 13 homers, 42 RBIs. .337 average, with a .373 OBP
JD Martinez is a fucking animal. Especially considering most of those numbers came in the last month or so.

Bruce Chen today which means the Tigers will have 1 run on 4 hits.  Chen against the Tigers is a better pitcher than Pedro in his prime.

"Also, Dude, 'Chinaman' is not the preferred nomenclature. 'Asian-American', please."

Mexi, the 17 year old from the Dodgers in the futures game. Will he make the bigs before he's 20?

I wanna know what's wrong with Cabrera.. I know the numbers are still solid and all that but something is wrong. His power is way down and he's just hitting more ground balls and striking out more then I'm accustomed of seeing. Maybe I'm just overreacting because I expect so much but visually, something just looks wrong to me.
