Started at Ravens games and carried over to the Orioles

The ironic thing is that Jack White is from Detroit

I expect this game to be tied by the 7th inning

Develop was a shitty word choice. Meant that they never find crappy pitchers like Wade Davis who turn out to be studs.

Doug Fister? Max Szczfesfdgjrws?

They weren't crappy, but they also weren't putting up front of the rotation numbers like they are now.

Hell, Drew Smyly was a big piece in the Price trade.

Victor Martinez has K'd three times already this series. That's almost more than he had all season haha

Was thinking more along the lines of the bullpen, but you're right about Scherzer. His stuff really has really improved over the past three seasons. Fister too, but to the same degree.

Why is Zeke Carerra playing in a postseason game?

You have Don Kelly on the postseason roster. He needs to be in Center if Rajai can't go. The only thing edge Carerra has on Kelly is that he can run fast.

They're not starting Sanchez this post-season?

Well this changes things for the bullpen. Although he's not an overpowering pitcher, so it's not as a seamless transition.

He's thrown like one inning in the past two months. If he was streched out he'd be in the rotation instead of Porcello.

Are they planning on stretching him out into a starter if they advance? Realistically, I guess he could go the rest of the game, and then pitch half of Porcello's game, and then insert him back

I haven't heard any mention of that, Ausmus said in a presser that he'd ideally use Sanchez for two innings. I guess they could if Porcello continues to pitch how he did in September.

He's probably the best relief pitcher on the team right now too, which would be a nice asset if Ausmus would let somebody other than Joba/Nathan pitch the late innings.

One would assume Porcello could have been effective in that type of role as well.

If Sanchez is healthy, I don't see a reason to not let him just finish this game though. But, managers love to pull guys even if they're pitching well for the closers, even if they're not very good.

That wasn't a strike
The strike zones have been sketchy both games. Gausman hit that spot on several occasions that inning and didn't get the same call. Oh well
