Jones and Dempsey simply couldn't finish any chances. They each had their fair share to do so.
 
Side note: I can't stand Jones. Biggest diver in the tournament. I couldn't help but laugh vs Germany when HE ran into the MUCH smaller ref and he went flying backwards, thinking it was a German player, trying to draw a penalty. Meanwhile the ref looks around as if it was just a fly or something. Lost all respect for Jones right then.
