Did you guys know until around 1920, it was legal to reverse steal a base? lol.
For instance if you were on 2nd, you could steal and go to 1st.

Haha, only two players ever did it.
 
The one I read about was because he was on 1st and his teammate was on 3rd. They were going to have the guy on 3rd steal home when the catcher threw to 2nd when the guy on 1st tried stealing 2nd. But the catcher didn't make the throw down to 2nd so the guy on 3rd didn't try stealing home.
 
So the guy who stole 2nd went back and stole 1st so they could try the double steal again lol.
 
If that makes sense.

If MLB wanted to crack down on peds, they wouldnt let teams trade for guys while knowing a key piece of the team will be suspended

I'm talking peralta and the tigers. Peraltas suspension ended up helping the tigers because they were able to trade for Iglesias

With that team, I would take defense over offense from my ss every time
