Yeah, thats why a lot of Celtics fans were annoyed that we dumped off Perk, because the Heat had no answer for Perk AND KG.

Of course I was one of few that realized that the Perk trade was a great one (although I didnt think Green would be this good), but yea. Size has always been a problem for the Heat.

Size is a problem if your bigs posses some kind of talent. Perk has none, so it wasn't a problem trading him

Perk was more important for LA when he had to stop Bynum (and when we played Dwight and ORL too)

He possessed zero offensive game, which is why I was fine with him going.

I was talking about the Heat. Last year in the finals showed what he can do against the Heat offensively and defensively. Nothing

Anybody think Hibbert might be given a suspension? It wouldn't be warranted, but it wouldn't surprise me if the NBA did it.

And if they do...well, that makes everything clearer.

He should based solely on the fact that he laughed at his own joke, and was the only one laughing.  He thought it was genuinely funny.

From what I can remember stuff like that never lead to a suspension (correct me on that). Kobe once called a ref a fucking faggot and was only fined. They're not gonna suspend a key player in a game 7 for saying "no homo". The shit storm that would cause...

Hibbert has officially apologized and that seems to be that.

Speaking of Hibbert, if the Pacers advance to the Finals Hibbert will suddenly look like a very average offensive big man again.

i hate how players apologize for shit they say. it was clearly not them who decided to say sorry and they said it so they meant it in the first place.

Well yeah, that's what you gotta do if you're in the public eye. Roy himself doesn't give a shit. He thought he was hilarious.

The other thing he said, the "motherfuckers" one, even said "I don't care if I'm gonna get fined"

He can make bad jokes, I do it all the time, but a line is crossed when you laugh at your bad jokes.
