Anybody here think Asik fouled Reggie Jackson last night? I've got a bunch of fans on another forum going batshit over that no call, even though Omer went straight up and Jackson threw it up from his chest instead of trying a normal shot.

That is a no call, if there ever was one.

What do you folks think?

If it was the other way around you'd be saying it was a foul. Hell I probably would too.

Along with anyone else on this forum.

I don't think so. That was textbook straight up on Asik's part. Easy no call.

You wouldn't have felt that way if it was the other way around, and don't try and convince anyone that isn't the truth.

You see players get called for fouls ALL the time when they're straight up and down.

Yeah...because that Asik play was such a foul...lol. The NBA's going to come out and say it was the right call, if anything.

Explain to me how i'm a homer by thinking Asik didn't foul Jackson.

You see players not get called for fouls when they go straight up, too. A lot.

that was a foul. he can go straight up all he wants, still too much body.

but the fact youre already complaining about fouls for a game that hasnt even been played yet is even worse.

It could have gone either way. Personally, I like the no call. Asik was incredibly quick to the spot and went straight up. Some crafty floppers could have even drawn a charge on that I feel like. Could that same play result in a foul? Absolutely. Late in the game though, the refs like to let them play. And the Thunder had their chance anyway, Ibaka just totally blew it.

I wasn't complaining. I just said that it's likely that there's some Thunder favoritism in game 5, and don't act like there isn't favoritism in the NBA. You have eyes, just like I do, and you see the same shitty reffing.

"Favoritism" is usually just towards star players and its not even favoritism. It's giving the star the benefit of the doubt on a close call, which makes sense.

Anyone claiming favoritism for certain whole teams is just bitter and this is coming from a guy who use to claim it all the time.

exactly. the refs cant give calls away to a whole team, theyd have to do it clear as day and legally theyd be in trouble. you are just a bitter, blind, homer.

bingo

Harden gets "star calls" as well. No where near as many as Durant does but he still does.

Chris Paul is doing everything he can in a big game, but getting no help from teammates.  Likely to lose and get sent home early.

Why did he leave NOLA again?  Come back home!

before the game i saw that VDN said whoever wins game 5 will probably win the series

instantly i was like, why on earth would you say that? what if the clippers lose?

lmao. go grizz
didnt watch the game

Grizz have a serious chance at the Finals if they could beat the Clips. IMO they would beat the Spurs and would beat OKC/HOU/DEN/GSW

cmon Memphis. this is your best chance

it would be pretty cool if he went back, but i remember saying he doesnt like the name change (not that it matters and not that he would even consider going back)
