Pelicans will offer Chris Copeland a "substantial" contract:

Nick Borges of ESPN Insider says the Pels will offer Chris Copleland a "substantial" contract. The Knicks can only offer him $3.1 million in the 1st year of the contract, which he says will make it difficult for the Knicks to retain his services. He says that the Pacers will also make an offer to Copeland as a former Knick exec Donnie Walsh is now in Indiana.

He almost never was in iso ever. Just a catch and shoot guy that teams didnt focus on because JR and Melo were out there too.

Most I'd give is 3/$4.6M, front loaded

thats still not enough of a showing to warrant more than $2M annually, yet.

Like I said, I wouldn't hesitate to give him 4/16. What he does translates.

His play last season dictated about 3.3M a year.

He played 10mpg... That does not warrant $3.3M

His adjusted Per36 might, but like Pugz said, he needs to show more before getting that dough

He played 15 minutes a game, and over 930 minutes total. He played more and more as the season went on.

And like I said, what he does translates. It isn't suddenly going to disappear. No team is going to ask him to be the 2nd or 3rd scoring option, but he's easily a starting caliber offensive player who can score in a variety of ways. There's a ton of value in that.

Where are you getting the 10 minute per game number from?

He averaged nearly 9 points a game in 15 minutes in the regular season. That's outstanding. You're paying for upside in giving more minutes. You make more than 2 million if you don't suck in the NBA.

I was looking at playoff stats. Still 15 min, that's less than half of starters minutes

Based on rumors and reports im hearing, there is a possibility that we could just call us the Boston Inefficiencies

C DeAndre Jordan
F Josh Smith
F Jeff Green (the exception)
G Avery Bradley
G Rajon Rondo

And then when Green gets injured/heart problems, and we bring in Jordan Crawford at the 3... wooo!!!!!

Elsewhere, a source said Oklahoma City was interested in packaging its two first-round picks (Nos. 12 and 29) and Kendrick Perkins for a top-five pick. But the Thunder have had no takers either.
What do you mean no takers???

I wouldn't trade #6 for #12 and #29, much less take on Perk lol

You'd have to give me #12, then I might agree to take Perk. #29 has negative value in this CBA
