how come? I realize the offer i sent originally was wrong since it was 500k for 3 years no increase, and his third year was gonna be under the min. but the whole point was to give him a deal so i had 3 birds when he was done...CameronCrazy06 said:@[member="GMOTY"] just a heads up that Hill's deal shouldn't have been allowed as it was... I scaled it down to two years.
The problem is that 550K is well below the minimum for any player with 1 or more year of experience. So there's two years on the contract on a minimum salary, and we banned multi-year minimum's this year. You won't have 3 birds, but he will be an RFA.GMOTY said:how come? so yeah it was my fault on the offer but can it be increased to like 550k for 3 years?
hm, since when? i was under the impression the min for 0 years experience was like $332,000 or something. so what's the min for the third year? cause by definition, if the third year min is $540,850 then as long as the third year is there or above it's not a min contract.CameronCrazy06 said:The problem is that 550K is well below the minimum for any player with 1 or more year of experience. didn't realize we went off of this. also, since the CBA wasn't changed retroactively, isn't anything above the current min on an increase still allowed after the change?DJT said:

so $490,180 would be the min for a rookie in the current season. seems like if it was $500,000 per year on an increase that would be fine right?[/size]
0 $490,180 $507,336 $525,093
yeah but that's after the CBA is changed. do you get what I'm saying? before the CBA change and cap jump, the min was 490K. so as long as you have the cap space to offer that on a multi year deal with the increase, it's technically not the same as a MIN where you're over cap and therefore only get 1 year. right?CameronCrazy06 said:The minimum for 1 year players next year is like 816 K
