same but hanging on all game for us to lose at the end sucks but it's promising. a lack of a goto guy is the reason for that and we really need to address it.

Pretty great. Atmosphere was actually nice for once.

Had a good shot to win, but I think we squandered it when Cheeks had a lineup of: Drummond-Jerebko-Singler-Stuckey-Bynum in the late 3rd quarter. Which is 2 ball-dominate guards, 2 mediocre shooters, and Drummond. Went down 10 and never came back.

Refs also made some questionable calls in the 4th, but meh. Guys sitting around me were harassing the refs beyond belief, it was hilarious. lol

The fans really like Jennings and Smith though. Really have embraced them.

Really only happened against the Grizzlies. But I agree.
I figure Jennings could take the role. He did somewhat against the Thunder.

we cant have him jacking shots when we need him to set the offense. we need a guy who can get buckets when we need them. he actually could if iur defense played better which is actually pretty crazy how bad we look at times.

Yeah it hasn't been too good. But I attribute that to the guys still getting to know each other defensively. I think it will improve once they start meshing more.
Paul George and Kevin Durant are also great scorers though, which is part of it lol. This has been a tough start (opponent wise) this season.

Tonight against Portland could be really tough, but I could see Drummond having a really big game.

I hope so. It kind of frustrates me the lack of involvement he has had in the offense the last couple of games. He has developed a few moves and displayed that in the pre-season. I wish we would feed him the ball every once in a while. Rather than never at all.

Playing Toronto tonight.

Incidentally, while I was wrong about Lowry's potential, we would be so much better off with him right now. We'd have never had to sign Lin, would have 2 good defensive point guards, and one who's probably a more consistent shooter than Lin.

Allowing McHale to dictate whether or not we kept Kyle Lowry was pretty dumb. I maintain that McHale is not a very good coach, and I really hope that he just resigns and hands the reigns to Calvin Sampson before we lose him to somebody else. Sampson is so much better in-game.

That's true, but I'm sure Morey would have finagled it, one way or another.

The thing is...we're stuck with Jeremy Lin and the contract we gave him. Who could possibly want him? I'll be surprised if he's in the league in 5 years.

Rockets have a lot of options

Could trade lin for anything(he isnt as bad as you think, some team would take him)
Could trade asik for a parsons replacement
Could even trade parsons

Still have tjones ans dmo who they could flip

Deadline will be fun

i think its pretty clear by the fact that detroit turned him down that lin isnt as easy to trade.

well, I hope we don't trade Parsons. Him and Kawhi are two of the biggest draft steals in recent memory. Never should have dropped as far as they did.

I think that's kind of hindsight. There was a lot of concerns offensively and defensively with Parsons coming out. And with Kawhi, I'd ask if he'd be the same player he is with the Spurs if he went to say, the Kings?

I know it's not something that's going to happen, but if Harden refuses to improve his defense, I'd rather trade him than Parsons.
