We're only a bit more than a week in, but it's interesting to go back and look at this thread:

I'd just like to say Brook Lopez has been a beast everywhere except the boards, and Deron Williams has been garbage.

you realize Lopez takes over 4 more shots a game and plays more minutes, right? And that Deron has an AST% of 44.4%, which is damn good. KG also takes an insane pressure off Lopez too, because you have to respect KG and the space he takes at the high post.

I'm not saying Brook ain't good, because I knew he'd have a breakout year, but the way you are saying it is as if you are comparing Eric Gordon and Al-Farouq Aminu. Deron is having a solid season as a POINT GUARD. And on that stacked Nets team, if you had to have your point guard score less, it's not that big of a deal. JJ/Pierce/Brook could easily get 20ppg if given the opps, and KG too if he got the minutes

Deron is shooting 40% and has the second highest turnover rate among PG's. He's only averaging 0.43 points out of the pick and roll, and shooting 14% on his drives. Add to that his turnstile like defense? He's allowing his man to shoot 63% at the rim this season. He's been pretty bad, his passing is the only thing he's done well, and like I said his turnovers GREATLY offset that. Perhaps he turns it around, but I don't have the first clue how you figure he's having a solid season.

I also think Garnett is helping Brook a LITTLE bit, but it has more to do with Brook than Garnett, considering he was an elite offensive center last year as well. He's not having a breakout year, as you said. He had that last year, without Garnett.

Just realized that the Bulls next game is against the Cavs, so either Kyrie will get hurt tonight against the Sixers, or Rose will slip on a banana peel and die sometime before monday.

That matchup is not interesting anymore because both guys suck now.

Agreed, but that's part of the problem with him. Always has some type of nagging injury it seems like.
