So is 3rd time the charm for boston tanking?
Struck out in 98 and 07

My own conspiracy is that Stern gives MJ the #1 pick finally(I know stern is retiring before the draft)

The draft order definitely isn't fixed.

I still have high hopes for Bennett, he's just having a rough start and he doesn't play enough minute to work his way out of it. I wouldn't call him a tweeter anymore though. He's been guarding PFs extremely effectively so far. I posted it earlier but he has the best defensive rating on the team and the highest defensive rebounding rating. Small sample of course but he is hard to move down low. Guards face up 4s well too

It's actually pretty incredible how improved this team is defensively. 2nd in the league so far. Just need to get kyrie on track offensively

Personally, I love Wiggins, and I'd love to be "Riggin for Wiggins" (copyright Clairvoyant Bill), but I'd really be fine with anything in the top 5.

Andrew Wiggins- franchise changer, next KD, but less shooting and more explosiveness.

Jabari Parker- People forget how highly recruited he was. He might not be the next Durant/LeBron, but he can be the next Paul Pierce/healthy Grant Hill

Marcus Smart- Good scoring point guard with a lot of leadership, is a good passer as well. Big bodied as well. Somewhat the opposite as Wiggins, as in, hes a better shooting, less explosive version of KD's teammate Russell Westbrook, imo.

Julius Randle- There was talk about him going above Wiggins potentially; thats how good he is. I know he wasn't persay the best player in last years draft, but Randle compares alot to Anthony Bennett, but better. Randle is taller, bigger, faster, stronger, a shooter, a better scorer, and has a higher potential. Unlike those 3 above, he might not make an immediate impact right away, but thats not what the Celtics need. It wouldn't be a bad thing at all for Randle to make a solid impact as a rookie, but not enough that we dont get another Top 5 pick in 2015 #okcmodel

Dante Exum- the Aussie has fantastic court vision, and at 6'6" he has the size to overpower his PG matchups. And he is very similar in playstyle to Rondo: quick, pass first, good finisher at the hoop, needs improvement on shooting. We can then move Rondo, the more proven asset, for other assets as well.

Even guys like Joel Embiid, who has the potential to be Olajuwon-esque defensively, or Glenn Robinson III, who looks like the best shooter in this draft. Boston is set, whether we get #1 overall or #5.

Orlando is going to be really good in a few years
lol at everyone who laughed at their return for dwight, and especially those who thought they should have traded for Brook

I don't intend to harp on this so much anymore, but I just watched a ref steal a game from Phoenix for falling for the most obvious Manu Ginobili flop I've ever seen.

I thought they weren't supposed to be falling for this shit anymore. I thought they were focusing on calling legitimate offensive fouls or else letting the players play.

It's 1 out of 82 games, but for a team like Phoenix this could be huge. That was just...I mean, it set Tony Parker up to drill a defended shot, because that's what he does, and it was over from that point.

I've noticed they're back to their usual charge calls this year, falling for almost every flop. I hope this isn't re-trending, because the NBA was SO MUCH better last year with less offensive fouls called.

Phoenix is one of the teams who's been rumored to be tanking, if anything doesn't the loss help that cause?

I may be the only one who thinks this, but don't you think the nonstop posts about NBA refereeing gets a little old after awhile? If you hate it that much, no one is making you watch. I'm not trying to start a fight, just hoping you could tone it down and rather focus your posts on actual basketball...
