It's not gonna last. Refs are gonna get frustrated being barked at and stop calling it in 2, 3 weeks.

James Harden is never going to be as good as he can be until he decides to play defense. He's just nonexistent, on that end. And it's not the Kyrie lazy defense, it's that he doesn't make any real defensive plays. The best players in this league change the game on both ends of the court.

It's time to demote Jeremy Lin to 3rd string. He's as bad as Jimmer Fredette on defense, except Jeremy has no excuse for it. Jimmer's tiny, and isn't quick enough. Jeremy's a burner who can't do anything on the defensive end.

You counter ball movement with a zone. Stay in your area. Stop trying to go around people. McHale has to install a zone, after this. There's no other option.

Installing a zone should never happen in the NBA. Fucking hate it. I wish colleges didnt run it but that's impossible to ask for with the lack of athleticism and the amount of personnel turnover yearly.
