Yea, but I also picked the Grizzlies, Cavs & Pistons, so you're not looking at the brightest guy here.
Did the right thing with the Grizz lol

I like that we can go back to the prediction threads and see who said what.

The Wolves and Pels were definitely the more popular choices over the Blazers and Mavs. It's so easy to talk shit afterwards.

I kinda feel bad for Phoenix. What an incredible season they had only to fall just a tad short.

You picked Kyrie Irving as ASG MVP so I'd chalk that up as a win.

Definitely. I didn't pick anything impressive right by the looks of it.

But if we're talking real, that was my least homeristic Cavs pick in there. Kyrie thrives in all-star environments, this was established the previous two years, McDonalds High School game, etc.. It hinged on him being voted in as a starter to win for me, cause he would need to make plays down the stretch. Figured he'd be the starter, I was right.

I stand by it considering 9 more wins would be 42 and they weren't +.500 good.
Again, this is just the same argument, but if we're talking a healthy squad, 42+ wins would have been attainable. At 42 wins, we're talking about that not even being good enough for the 9th spot in the West, and we're also talking about a team that is eight or so games out of the 8th seed.

None the less, a team that doesn't suffer the second most injuries out of the thirty teams in the league, a team that doesn't miss Ryan Anderson for 60 games, Jason Smith for 51 games, Jrue Holiday for 48 games, Eric Gordon for 18 games, Anthony Davis for 15 games, Brian Roberts for 11 games, and Tyreke Evans for 10 games is good enough to make up nine games over the course of an 82 game season, especially when the team as currently constructed has a differential of less than three points a game. This shouldn't even be up for debate, I'm not even saying a healthy roster is a playoff team, but you're just being ignorant.

The Pelicans are better than he's giving credit, but Eric Gordon missing 18 games is healthy for him (not to mention, you even said yourself that he hurts the Pelicans more than helps), Jason Smith hasn't played a full season since '10-'11, Ryan Anderson's injury was very unfortunate and not expected, but he missed 15-19 games three straight seasons to start his career (although he was healthy the previous two), Reke has missed at least 10 games in every season except '11-'12, Davis missed 18 last year. The Jrue one was the only guy whose injury was really blatantly uncharacteristic. Although some of the lengths are above norm. Point remains, a lot of the Pelicans players are "injury prone" to an extent. I wouldn't label Davis with that yet, as bad teams tend to not be in a hurry to rush guys back to the floor.

So which series will Roy Hibbert put together 3 or 4 games that make people forget about how shitty he is the other 90% of games he plays?

The problem with the Pelicans are, you don't know when a player is really hurt or not. They're too protective, and that bothers me to a degree.

They have gone on record and said that Davis could play if we were in a playoff hunt or something. Same goes for the time he missed last season, injuries he could have played for but no need to risk it. I believe the same holds true for Jrue Holiday. Ryan Anderson doesn't worry me, because he hasn't shown any signs of being injury prone as a member of this franchise. His injury to start the season was a dumb decision on his part (he kicked a chair and broke his toe), and like you said the big injury was dumb luck but he's going to make a full recovery and last I heard he'll be good to go three or four months from now. Tyreke could be a little worrisome, but I've seen enough to know that he's a guy that will play through injuries if necessary. The only two guys that I would say are really injury prone are Jason Smith and Eric Gordon, and neither of those really bother me.

we all know he only plays well vs miami

Joakim gives him problems and plumlee's athleticism will too. I think KG will be a little more active in the playoffs too

If theyre lucky enough to beat those teams, they can still beat miami, but dont sleep on chicago and brooklyn

Been telling you guys bout brooklyn for months...
