his shot is broken. horrible form, follow through, setup everything about it is broken. hes a poor man's gerald wallace and it took him a while to get it together so mkg may never.

never liked him as a #2 pick

2nd consecutive game where officials miss two critical calls late in the game in a one score game, both going against the Pels. Unreal.

Another. NBA refs are a fucking mess.

AD had a monster block against Big Al that was clearly very legal, but the refs blow the whistle and call it on Aminu, who was standing on the other side of the paint not touching anyone else.

meh. solid defensive guy, i dont see much more.

I think he's more than just a solid defensive guy. He's one of the better post defenders in the league, he blocks a lot of shots, and he's excellent at defending the rim. At 38.7%, opponents finish at a higher rate against Roy Hibbert, Larry Sanders, Anthony Davis, Dwight Howard, Andre Drummond, etc. He should be getting 20+ minutes a night because of his defense alone.

I also think he has some skills that are under utilized in Charlotte. For example, he's excellent at finding gaps in the defense around the rim and creating looks for himself. He also shoots 76% at the rim, which is phenomenal. Problem being, who does Charlotte have on their roster that is a distributor, or a guy that gets into the lane on a consistent basis? They don't have one to find him and get easy points. And that isn't something that every player can do, that is a skill that some guys have and some guys do not.
