Because I don't believe Kyrie is going to turn down a max contract to take a QO?

Or because I think Wiggins, Parker and Embiid will be franchise changing players?

kyrie wont be leaving, at least not after his first extension, but you shoot down everything that has been said about him. everything.

at some point you'll need to start believing some things. he has to hate it there. they haven't shown any signs of improving while his star is. sooner or later his game will get knit picked to hell because they aren't winning and people will blame him.

rumors are rumors, but the fact that a lot of the same stuff is being reported, you have to believe it eventually.

I haven't denied that he's unhappy, because any star on a losing team is unhappy, but his unhappiness is talked about more because of his name and current notoriety.

If kyrie absolutely wants to leave, he should just take the QO because trades are complicated

At WORST, he will get the steph curry extension which is like 44m if he gets hurt

If he really wants to try and win, it might be worth the risk

He could be a trail blazer if he did this(not portland)

He's going to be eligible for the Rose Rule pending he re-ups with us. I can't see any scenario of him turning that down for 9 million on a one year deal.

I never said it can't be done. His game is getting picked apart more and more, and he's still considered injury prone. I just don't see him turning down that money.

All this talk is funny to me because its only being talked about because of dan gilbert and recent cavs history

There were stories, rumors and jokes saying Kyrie was leaving the minute people realized he was good, because of the recent LeBron loss.

Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan are the same age, but their career salary earnings are considerably different due to their decisions on when to enter the NBA.

Garnett entered the NBA directly from high school at the age of 19 and became the fifth overall pick in the 1995 NBA Draft.

Duncan, graduating from high school at 17, went to Wake Forest for four years and was the first overall pick in the 1997 NBA Draft.

Garnett has $315 million in career earnings compared to $224 million for Duncan, a difference of $91 million.

Garnett had a two-year head start and was earning $14 million when Duncan was making $3.4 million in his second season. Garnett signed a six-year, $126 million contract during the 97-98 season, which ultimately triggered a response from the owners in the 1999 lockout and impacted the earning potential of Duncan.

Both had probably similar adidas deals too
