I think he averaged 4 a game as a rookie, or at least right under it.Robinson averaged 4.5 blocks and 2.3 steals per game one year lol

I would agree somewhat, but considering there are 20-30 years in a generation I'd say there are more generation players than people realize. You can't throw around the term once in a generation that loosely.
there is not 20-30 years in a sports generation.nolafan33 said:I would agree somewhat, but considering there are 20-30 years in a generation I'd say there are more "once in a generation players" than people realize.
If anything, the term "once in a generation" is dumb. But to be fair, I didn't say Davis was a once in a generation player.
I don't even know if that is a real term, but if it is, people shouldn't use it, there is no way to measure how long a "sports generation" is.there is not 20-30 years in a sports generation.
I was thinking the same thing, but then I actually started to think about it. I think that second option year is 7.3M, if he doesn't improve SUBSTANIALLY over the next three years I could see it. I don't think it's a 0% chance, but I do think injuries would be a bigger reason than him not improving.elcheato said:About a 0% chance.
I think going into year four of his career the hope would pretty much be gone. That's a long time. I don't expect that to happen though. If you followed the draft talk this year you'd probably remember me not liking him at all, but I do think he'll atleast be a valuable role player.elcheato said:Lets say the 1% chance of LeBron coming here happens. There would be no cap space to sign impact players. Holding onto Bennett and hoping he turns around is worth it at 7 mill in the NBA.
If the Cavs strike out in free agency, like anticipated, there is little reason to not keep him, because you're still not a contender, and it's worth it to hope he pans out.
