Miami beat the Spurs last year without LeBron and Wade in San Antonio... Was San Antonio a fraud?

San Antonio has 4-5 head scratching losses a year. Sometimes they just fold. If you want to be an elite team, you have to beat the other elite teams when you're at home, especially when your opponent is missing the best player on the planet.

Conley was better without Rudy Gay. Kyle's better without Rudy Gay.

Rudy should be playing overseas lol. They'd love him. No franchise that's interested in contention is going to want him.

Them Miami boys knew their personal accomplishments and skill would be diminished a wee bit in the public eye when they teamed up, that's the price, a very small price all things considered.

I prefer to measure teams by how they play in a game, and not the end result of the game. I'm happy with the direction the Pels are headed. I think they played better last night then they played in a 13 pt win in Sacramento and a 16 pt win against Denver. It's really encouraging they played Houston so close when Jrue played his worst game of the season. Perimeter defense has improved greatly from start of season, rotations are crisp, and the team has been good offensively all year. Lots of positive signs.

Every team does.  It's an 82 game season, teams aren't on their A game 82 games a year.

Definitely good to see Lowry finally shining and I think the Knicks are probably questioning whether they should have pulled the trigger on that deal. Lowry is a good point guard. Doesn't turnover the ball all that much either for all the assists and points he has on a nightly basis

Trade Lowry while he's playing well.

Lowry's biggest attribute is his defense, but that isn't valued by fans for some reason unless you're known as a elite defender.

Wish I knew why Houston is laying stinkers right now. One night they'll be fantastic, the next they'll bend over and get bitch slapped.

So does that make them a pretender like Portland? "No Westbrook, no excuses"

No excuses at all. Getting kicked like this is a good indication of how far Houston has to go. Now, most nights it'd have been a close game, but they can't keep having the let downs.

Kyrie in December:

25.1 ppg (46/39/88), 6 apg.

Last 10 games:

28.5 ppg (49/43/94), 6.8 apg

Doesn't suck anymore, apparently
