Golden State continues to not impress me

I LOVE steph and iggy does so much, but theyre overrated and get hype because they won a few vs the spurs in the playoffs

I personally think GSW misses the bench pieces it lost. I know that Landry and Jack aren't exactly top level players, but both provided skills that other guys on the team lacked. Landry had a true post game and some real tenacity under the hoop, whereas Lee is just a bad defender who accumulates stats because he's fairly big. He's essentially what Kevin Love would be if Kevin Love hadn't decided to get leaner and improve multiple facets of his game, thereby minimizing his lack of elite athleticism.

Jack, while a chucker, could create his own shot and provided something every team needs off the bench: consistent points. Maurreese Speights is as likely to score 0 as he is 16. Jermaine O'Neal is, as already proven, fragile. Draymond Green is a very underrated overall player, but isn't going to put the ball in the hoop on a consistent basis. Klay can drop 30 on any given night but is inconsistent and just doesn't provide the kind of consistency needed from a player with his skills and shooting ability.

Without Bogut, the Warriors would be well below .500, and pretty damn bad defensively, because Ezeli is out.

I looked at Jarrett Jack's stats the other night, and I was completely shocked that he's averaging 10/4 on 44% from the field and 38% from 3. Completely shocked. I would have guessed 8/3 on under 40% from the field and 33% from 3.

Jack actually kept them in some games off the bench last year against the spurs. Thompson made my shit list during that series though pushing Manu in the back

For all of the acting and flailing Manu has done during his career, I don't mind if he gets beat up a little. I can't stand when James does it, so I'm not gonna act like my team doesn't have a player who does the same thing, or anything.
