Pistons have the worst fair weather fans.
We had that string of sell outs back when we were good.
Just hope we start to get that back. Sad to see the Palace that empty.

No team is going to have good attendance if you string together countless losing seasons in a row. It has nothing to do with being fair weather, it has to do with not wanting to waste money on a losing product that shows no hope. It's not fun watching your favorite team lose again, and again. Especially if you're throwing huge money to see it.
 
There are exceptions, but that's generally how it goes.

Pistons are my fav EC team. Spurs are my dudes though. Ever since I was 8. I was a big fan of Grant Hill and those old ugly add pistons jerseys and logo

so do i but you have to figure a lot of inner-city fans cant afford to go that far to the game. even if the tickets are dirt cheap, the ride may not be for them.
