I like him as a 4 in a small lineup, which the Pels have played him as for a good bit of minutes the past few games. That is where he'll make a name for himself, as a guy who can defend stretch bigs and rebound. As a 3 though, he's great defensively, but he's pretty much forcing you to play 4 on 5 offensively. Just look at the numbers, more than 7 points better per 48 minutes defensively, but 3 points worse offensively.

I use the word robotic. In Blake's case, his footwork is so awful it really limits his effectiveness in the post.

I think you're forgetting about times when Carlos Arroyo and Big Z were actual backups and Mike "Mike" Miller was supposed to be a game changer.

No Ray, Cole, Battier or Birdman.
