Losing in the playoffs is the worst feeling in sports. I think I'd rather see my team miss the playoffs than watch them lose once they get there.

At least for the NFL that is.

totally agree. the only L you can take is in the championship game because you can still be positive about making it that far.

Bragging rights? Confidence/motivation? Who gives a shit about any of that. What bragging rights do you get exactly? And a player is doing something wrong if they didn't have the motivation before.

I'm not trying to get a rise out of you or anything, I'm asking a serious question. The Saints lost the NFCCG in 06 and I'll be the first person to say that the season didn't mean shit because of it. It's a loss, that's it. There is no sugar coating a loss in the conference championships.

Especially if you're a team that was truly a Superbowl contender.

I don't know. I'm trying to have as positive as an outlook on next season as I can. In all honesty, im not in a very positive mood about this year. Im not overwhelmingly excited to look forward towards next year. I don't even feel like watching another football game for a while. I can only do what I can do. There is no sugar coating a loss. There is no sugar coating blowing a fucking 17-0 lead. We came 4 fucking points from being in the Super Bowl. It sucks yea, but it happened, and I gotta move on from it

Tony Romo has some great options himself.

Witten is an amazing safety blanket. Dez Bryant is a head case but when he's on his game he's an amazing WR. Miles Austin and Demarco Murray can't stay on the field with all their injury problems.
