Well. Gonna lose the game if you try to run it the way we did, and Alex Smith outplays Stafford. And well, when you have a horrendous secondary lol.

It was the prettiest game, but I actually liked the trying to establish the run game, the way we did. It was a nice game plan. Only thing I didn't like was when it was run, run, pass, which puts too much pressure on converting on 3rd downs.

That onside kick was kind of close lol. If it took any kind of bounce, might of been able to recover it, but it is what it is. It was going to be tough to get a win, knew that going in, but I saw things I liked.

The worst part was letting those 3rd down conversions before that "dagger" Touchdown to Vernon Davis. Especially that 3rd & 14. Alex Smith just dumped it to Crabtree and he got it way too easily. Stop them there, and get that score, and who knows. It just wasn't a great played game, but oh well.

That was one of the stupidest penalties I have ever seen. Whatever Cortland Finnegan said to him, worked.

Finnegan did lay into Morgan after the whistle, but that is still no excuse to react like a child at any point in a football game... let alone during a potential game tying/winning drive.

Hell, before the penalty, he had the first down pretty much locked up... just needed to fall forward. Instead numb nuts decides to reverse field to try and get the angle while about 5 feet from the sidelines... Horrific football IQ all the way around.

Morgan looked lazy all preseason. Quitting on routes, dropped balls, the works. Combine that with this disgraceful display, IDK why he's still wasting a roster spot.

On another note, Niners are going to be very tough to beat this year.
