Winning matters more than money to some
Not really. If it did, then Mario would stay with the Texans after this last shot of a contract with them they offer in the next 15 Hours.

Said "In Chicago, Bears are the Favorite to land Mario Williams" ..

Just like it would be anywhere else "In Dallas, Cowboys are favorite to land Mario"

Same with Jacksonville, same with Detroit, and Seattle.
I realize it's from a Chicago reporter...

I'd be excited if we got Mario Williams, but I'm also fine with not throwing all our money at a position we already are paying Julius Peppers at. If we pay Mario, that means no WR/TE/OL/LB/DB help through free agency.

The player rep for Reggie Nelson confirms the free safety will reach the open market.
The Bengals have as much cap space as any team in the league, but they have a habit of losing out to other teams on veteran players. In a weak safety class, Nelson will be No. 2 on the boards of many teams, behind only LaRon Landry. Free agents DEs Frostee Rucker and Jonathan Fanene are also expected to hit the open market.

Horriblez.

Dude should of just stayed in Cincy..

What a bust.

Would you expect any less out of Mike Brown?

Could see Winston in a Chiefs uniform, Riley on the other hand is being projected to Guard. Has too short of arms to play RT in the NFL. Will be better suited on the inside.

Pretty sure he doesn't even know FA starts tomorrow.

"We fully expect to look at Free Agency when it starts after the draft this year, much like it did last year"
What do you mean doesn't know FA starts tomorrow?? He doesn't even know what FA is to begin with..

Free agent OG Carl Nicks finally received a contract offer from the Saints on Monday, deeming it "respectable."
Nicks believes the Saints didn't make an offer before Monday because they understood they couldn't meet his demands and didn't want to insult him with a low-ball offer. Eager to become the highest-paid guard in the NFL, Nicks will sleep on the Saints' offer before the start of free agency on Tuesday.
Uh' Oh.

With Marques Colston re-signing in New Orleans the Bears need to hope Michael Floyd falls to them in the draft.

I don't wanna overpay for Vincent Jackson, but the Bears might have to if they want to guarantee a #1 WR this year.
