well its being reported that the Redskins will make “aggressive effort” to sign Manning and they are comfortable with the injury risks.

lol, did Irsay really say it's not about the money?

That is EXACTLY what it's about... otherwise this press conference wouldn't even be happening.

The whole Manning thing will fuck up the whole RG3 race.

If the redskins sign manning browns probably won't even have to trade for rg3 unless the seahawks trade up or whoever else wants rg3 trades up.

Which is why the Rams are better served to trade that pick soon, unless they know for sure Manning wont sign with the Skins.

Dungy doesn't think he will want to go to an NFC East team because then it would create a rivalry with Eli and he believes he doesn't want that. I guess that means you can also rule the Jets out. Hopefully he ends up in Miami, but I think Arizona could steal him.

I don't think he'd want to be in direct competition for a playoff spot against the Giants

Faulk said he isn't going to a NFC team because they don't want to ruin a potential Manning vs Manning SB.

So far, #Texans free agent DE/OLB Mario Williams has been connected to #Cowboys, #Seahawks & now #Falcons. Others will surely have interest.

Jahri Evans restructed his contract and saved the Saints about 2M in cap space. Very nice, that's over 6M that the Saints didn't have in cap because two vets restructed, and it's been rumored the Saints will cut some vets and save a ton of cap room in the coming days.

Hopefully this all goes toward resigning Nicks.

According to Mark Long of the Associated Press, the Jaguars will "not" pursue Tim Tebow as long as Gene Smith is the team's GM.
In other words, Smith isn't a Tebow "believer." Following news of Friday's Peyton Manning visit with the Broncos, speculation has been rampant that Denver might deal Tebow to Jacksonville. New Jags owner Shahid Kahn did say recently that he "would have drafted" Tebow in 2010, but that doesn't mean a thing because he doesn't have personnel say. Smith calls all of the shots.

FINALLY.. People see we don't want Bum ass Tebow. God dammit.

The team that took on Joe Montana in the twilight of his career is apparently hoping for the same type of short-term revival with Manning, as radio host Brandon Spano reports, citing a source, that the Chiefs have already prepared a contract offer for the quarterback who has been on the open market less than 24 hours after officially clearing waivers on Thursday.

Some team should have claimed him off waivers
