Dimitri Peterson is a nickel, as Hurricane said.

We just lost Mike Adams to the Broncos as well, and as the article said, Sheldon Brown is better served moving to safety, which looks likely.

Claiborne is still very well in play.

I guess David Garrard said he would definitely entertain an offer from the Lions for their back up qb since Hill and Stanton might be leaving. ehh lol

It's not the patriot way to draft a qb in the first..We'll take Riley/Decastro/Martin/Poe at 11...

I really do see Tannehill going to the Browns.

Him or Blackmon now that reports are out that they like him alot or are "impressed" with him by his Pro Day.

The Browns have been linked to Tannehill, Blackmon, Richardson, a trade up to #2 and even a trade down (even though Holmgren basically shot this idea down earlier today). It's called sending out mixed signals and keeping everyone guessing.

I could see the Browns cracking and taking Tannehill.

After listening to team president Mike Holmgren and GM Tom Heckert on Thursday's conference call, the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot "gets the feeling" the Browns are prepared to turn back to Colt McCoy as the quarterback in 2012.
"We think Colt has a big ceiling," said Heckert. "It's my job to get him better players." Despite their previous waffling on the subject, both officials now believe it's too early to write off McCoy. Holmgren will try to "discourage" Heckert from trading down at No. 4 overall. McCoy will have to be supported by a strong running game, lending credence to the belief that Alabama's Trent Richardson could be the Browns' top pick rather than Ryan Tannehill.

Could easily be smoke. Things that come out in the next little while here about what the representatives from teams say have to be taken with a true grain of salt.

Manning to San Fran would definitely be interesting.

I've seen Manning to the 49ers since the talk of him being released and what not.
But I like how Harbaugh was saying Smith is an elite QB, then goes and tries out Peyton.
Still though, Manning >> Smith, and Harbaugh is smart enough to realize that lol.

The Lions have lost quarterback Drew Stanton to the Jets. Stanton signed a one-year deal worth $1.25 million, according to reports
