He would definitely be a 34 LB. He doesnt seem like the guy who could play 43 end well.

I think he could succeed with the right coach. That beng said, I'd take him in the 2nd, not 1st

When people say seem it means they don't know why but are stating it.

Also, I read that a team told him they are taking him in the 1st.

I really hope the Titans don't take Kirkpatrick/Gilmore if they are there tomorrow. Really want wither DT/DE or WR. I love our young CB's, I think we should let them develop. As for WR's, I like Damian Williams, but better as a fourth WR. If we could get another top option like Britt with Washington and Williams as slots, Locker is gonna be set for weapons.

ESPN's Bob Holtzman reported Thursday morning that the Browns have narrowed their selection at No. 4 overall to Alabama RB Trent Richardson and LSU CB Morris Claiborne.
This is notable because Cleveland-area reporters believed Oklahoma State WR Justin Blackmon would still be in the hunt for the fourth pick leading up into Thursday. The Browns appear to have moved on from Blackmon, and will take Claiborne if someone leapfrogs them for Richardson. If the Vikings sit tight at No. 3 and take Claiborne or Matt Kalil, Richardson will be Cleveland's pick. Related: Browns

I haven't paid much attention but I've heard either CB, OL, or DE for us in the 1st round. Heard about a lot of potential trades that could happen, but that's talked about every draft.

I doubt i'll complain about the pick, maybe if it's DE. I'd prefer CB, but not Jenkins.

Reports came out that the NFL was attempting to make each pick more unpredictable...about a day before the Colts went public with who they will pick at #1. I believe Roger Goodell is relying on Minnesota to be the team who makes the draft worth tuning into, hence why there's so much speculation surrounding #3 overall. Also keep in mind Goodell just spent a few days with the Vikings front office, in Minnesota, helping the push for new stadium legislation.

I'm getting so pumped about the potential at pick 3, I'd almost be disappointed if we took Kalil there. I know we need a LT but I'm not getting that complete vibe he's a "lock" to be that guy. We do need to protect last year's first round investment but a look back at just about all the Vikings first round picks and you'll see they consistently take the BPA, regardless of any glaring needs. Keeping that fact in mind leads me to think Mo Claiborne is our guy but then again, cover 2 teams generally don't take DB's this high in a draft.

My bold prediction, (fingers crossed): Buffalo is said to be drooling over Kalil and they will trade up to pick 3 to get him. Minnesota moves back to pick 10, takes Michael Floyd, and then uses (what will be) two 2nd round picks to address the offensive line and secondary issues.
