Honestly, I wouldn't be too happy with the pick.

He doesn't make enough plays as a top 10 pick should, gets shredded in Man to Man.

Could be a good Zone CB tho.

I can see why Gene likes him though.

Great character, good work ethic, and loves to watch film and he's athletic. His play on the field doesn't make him a top 10 pick IMO. In January he was looked at as a 2nd Rounder. Not worth it.

Basically a 180 from "he will get shit on"

I thought, Welp = Well I can deal with it..
No, more like "Welp, I'm not shocked considering the moves this franchise has made in the past years, FML"

C'mon Kam, no love for that insider info?
Yeh, It'd be cool.

If he came here.. Dude would have a chance at making the roster simply because Jaguars are prolly the best team in the NFL with keeping UDFAs.

We have atleast 2 or 3 every year that make the team. And we need depth on the Oline.. So yeah, it'd be dope.

I hope Tannehill doesn't go to Miami..Really interested to see what Pioli would do if he's there at 11

In my mock I'm doing now, I have him going 11. I saw that in the new CBA, after pick 10, the 5th year option for rookie contracts goes waaay down.

Top 10 pick: Average salary of the top 10 contracts at that position
Pick 11-32: Average salary of the 3rd to 25th highest contract.

We all know Tannehill is going to take at least a year, if not 2 on the bench, so that leaves 2 years to figure out if he's the man, and that may not be enough, and you may not be sure if you want to be paying him 15 million dollars that year, for average QB play.

That's only part of it though. I was getting caught up in the fact that Sherman is the new OC, but at the same time Ireland needs to keep his job, and Tannehill isn't going to keep the team competitive right now. So I think he goes elsewhere. Maybe a QB in round two.

As for the Chiefs go, they could trade 11 and move down and get some nice compensation from someone who wants Tannehill. Mocks and figuring this stuff out is a crapshoot.

I'd love Tanny just for the fact that they would be addressing the most important position in sports. He could sit for a year or two and the team would be his for the next 6-7 years.

Wouldn't you rather them actually draft a QB who's going to be good? Tannehill in the first is a big mistake.

Any thoughts on my latest mock, aside for the 31st overall, because I know you dont like that one pick. But what about the others?

I hate how they have it formatted now, though.

I loved it much more when there was like 12 nonstop hours of coverage, split into two days.
