You'd think with a high draft pick, you would pick up someone with immediate impact to the team, knowing Peyton puts them in playoff contention.
Bengals drafted Palmer 1st overall and didn't play him 1st year.. same with alot of high draft picks. Who wouldn't want their Franchise QB to be groomed by Manning? He wont be as expensive as Luck and Still Raw and could be taught alot. Tannehill compares to Phillip Rivers, Manning could help mold that. Manning is 35 himself. Not the longterm answer.

We have no other corners worth note other then Haden, it would make a lot of sense. Not to mention he'd most certainly be the best player left on the board at #4. Our biggest need is receiver, QB, linebacker and cornerback. I get the feeling the Browns don't like Blackmon and there are no QBs or linebackers worth taking at #4, leaving Claiborne as a likely candidate for the pick.

I could see them maybe taking a DE, but we would be taking someone less valuable then Claiborne, and CB is a bigger need anyway.

Receiver will get taken care of at #22 or #37.
I'm saying they won't keep both Haden and Claiborne.. If they draft Claiborne, maybe trade Haden. Like the Cards did last year with DRC.

Why wouldn't they keep both? They certainly aren't going to trade Haden, considering how good he is already. Nothing wrong with having two great corners drafted high, especially with the new salary slotting system.

I just think they have bigger needs at different positions. Thats what they'll probably address. I could see them trading back and Selecting like Melvin Ingram or Coples. Sounds logical.

Defensive line help is definitely not a bigger need then CB.

Just cant see Claiborne in a Browns jersey. I do see Richardson or Melvin Ingram tho. You can get a #2 CB later on in the draft like Gilmore.

Bart Scott isn't likely to be back with the Jets next year. Kuechly can play a 3-4 right?

Teams usually dont spend big bucks on the same position.

New England might up trading Gronk or Hernandez in the future, because paying 2 TEs max deals is pointless.

Aside for WRs, teams dont have max contracts at the same position

I can. Even with a lot of money invested in it, the idea of having two lockdown corners in Haden and Claiborne is very intriguing.

My whole thing with drafting Claiborne to the Browns. Teams draft skill positions (CB, WR, RB) as high as they do so they won't have to draft the same position again in a few years. They're not going to draft 2 CBs TOP 10 within 2 Years. Won't do it.

There is no one else really worth it at #4, and yea they could trade down, but they have the luxury of potentially taking Claiborne because of the extra first they got from last years trade.

Yes.. But they still have alot of needs. Still aways away. They could trade back and Take like fuckin Tannehill or some shit, and still draft a CB at 22.

Would Cincinatti trade both 1sts and a 3rd/4th to #4 overall? And would Cleveland do that?
