The Rams will definitely ponder of Blackmon with the second selection. If they don't select him, and still want to get a playmaker, they will fall back to I assume the middle of the first round and look for a player like Floyd, Jeffrey if they do remain there still.

Either way the Rams will definitely benefit from adding another dimension to their offense.

Nobody is going to trade up to #2.

If the price to trade up to #1 is like 3 first rounders.. then #2 isn't gonna be any easier. Martin/Reiff are good options for around the 10th selection.

I'm not by any stretch guaranteeing that the Rams will take Blackmon, but I do think their is a chance, for sure.

It's going to come down to Kalil, Blackmon, or try everything in their power to at least shift down a few spots. The way in which they would be able to trade down is if some team really falls in love with the RGIII hype and moves up the board to secure him.

Kalil is a better prospect, and you can get WRs in later rounds that would be more successful.

I very highly doubt the Rams pick Kalil because Saffold and Smith are both good tackles who finished this season on IR.

Kalil to the Rams is the most irrelevant thing I have ever heard.

The Rams have Saffold and Smith. they are fine at the tackle.

Saffold could be a good RT, but is not a great LT. Smith is awful. Kalil is the pick here, voiding a trade.

That's because he isn't a power back, lol. RB's with a blend of size, speed and power don't come around often... I think you're evaluating the wrong attributes in his game. Miller isn't going to come into the league as a goal line back, or even an every down back. Hell, he wasn't an every down back at Miami.

I understand that he isn't a power back, but speed alone won't get him anywhere without a good o-line, as we see with CJ. Even a guy like Jamaal Charles at least doesn't shy away from the contact. If I was drafting a RB and wanted speed, I'd go with Wilson. He isn't much slower than Miller, but his game is way more complete.

Finally got to watch Ryan Tannehill against Northwestern. Wasn't able to watch the game live.

Lots of big time throws. He has continued to show great poise in the pocket, which is what he does easily as one of the best in this QB class. The team at A&M is overall pretty shitty, and besides Swope who I don't really mind, Fuller is a complete liability. He has so much more ability to get better which is why a team is going to select him early on draft day.

I could easily see the Seahawks taking a good look at Tannehill.

That's also what I love about Tannehill. He's got good poise, can really throw a good comeback or deep out, but the one thing with him is, he's touch on the deep ball is poor. I don't think I've seen him throw a really good deep ball. Hopefully that will come with time (he's only had like 20 starts at QB), but that is a major flaw in his game. Like I said yesterday, I could see him rising all the way to the Skins

Also, I love Swope. I doubt he'll declare, but someone is gonna get a steal of a slot in a later round.

You guys are really milking this slow thing. He's got enough talent to get deep that his speed wont matter. He's like TO in that sense. Isn't the fastest guy, but he'll get deep.

Watch some of his 2010 film to see a bit more power. He's plenty physical to get 5 yards a pop up the middle... he's shown it on more than a few occasions, but I don't know how often they actually ran him between the tackles against OSU or Maryland. From what I remember, they ran a ton of sweeps, and stretch plays. That's where you get the most out of his skill set anyway.

His problem is coachable. He ran more upright this season for whatever reason. Again, I'm going back to the injury.

He was incredible in the VT game BTW. The only time I saw him play physical after the injury.

Tannehill can make all the short-intermediate throws at NFL caliber. The fact that he has had so few starts is really a testament to the high ceiling that this guy has to grow into. I think he has easily one of the highest ceilings among the prospects at quarterback for this draft.

I did see VT as well. I was just listing pre-injury. Yeah the o-line thing is true. It was the wrong thing to describe what I was trying to say. But what really bugs me about Miller is, I see the tougher runners making more guys miss. Miller is supposed to be finesse and have some moves, but he gets tackled in way more one on ones then the other guys. They are juking more guys than Miller, and that's supposed to be his game.
