Hornets play the Blazers today, I'm feeling a pretty big loss.
Tyson Chandler?Monroe vs Hibbert for backup all-star C at the moment
You know now that I think about it Ayon's game is like Monroe's a little.as bad as i would love to see gmoe make the all-star game i dont think he will. hes playing on a horrible team and i think its gonna come back and bite his ass, though i think even on a good team he can still get these numbers because hes that kind of guy. rebound, put-backs, and pick-and-rolls. you dont need to run plays for him and he'll still get his.
Jimmer Fredette is struggling to score in the NBA and head coach Keith Smart has some advice for the rookie.
"Looking for his shot a little bit more would be better for him, but I think he's trying to fit into a team," Smart tells The Sacramento Bee. "But I'm telling him all the time: 'Be you. Don't try to be this point guard and average 10 assists -- just be you and shoot when you have to shoot. The team understands that.' "
Fredette is currently starting in the backcourt with Tyreke Evans, who says the rookie just needs to play.
"It seems like he's just thinking too much," said Evans. "Coach hasn't yelled at him or disrespected him for him not to be playing how he played in college. He's just got to go out there and play and put everything else aside."
Fredette is averaging just 7.8 points and he's working with assist coach Bobby Jackson on how to get his shot off against taller defenders.
Tony Allen is a great defender and that's huge for their team. Starting Mayo would be a huge detraction from their team defense. Allen was one of the major reasons they did so well in the playoffs. How? Mayo was a good player when he actually got the minutes.
