Shoutout to Kyle Lowry. Dude is averaging 10apg, oh damn... 2nd in the league only behind Rondo. I wonder if he can keep that up.

Andre Iguodala says he will be one of the 18 finalists for the U.S. Olympic team headed to London for the 2012 games.

The final roster will have 12 players and six alternates and must be finalized with the U.S. Olympic Committee by mid June.

Iguodala said he was contacted by USA Basketball chairman Jerry Colangelo this week about being one of the 18 players in consideration for the Olympic team.

Yea, hopefully they go towards chemistry like the last team, rather than the "dream team" from a few years ago that was just a bunch of superstars that had no flow whatsoever.

Lol you're in denial, Mario Chalmers will never hold D-Rose to 8 points. The day he does I'll wear an avy and all.
Lets not get ahead of ourselves

Derrick Rose had a usage rate of 17.9%. He had a usage rate of 32.2% last year, 26.1 this year. He didnt have the ball nearly enough as he normally does.

Lets see the day Teague allows Rose to sub 10 points for a second time. Then i'll avy him and all.

For the record, while Teague is better defensively, i'd take Chalmers overall.

Lol at $tunna thinking Jeff Teague is better than Jason Kidd...

I'd also take Chalmers over Teague, and I like Teague a lot (have since he was at Wake).

But $tunna overrates the hell out of him.

Not the last olympics. The team before that

I think it was like, 04 or something. I dont exactly remember. But they were just a bunch of jackass superstars and they only got Bronze I think.

I thought a couple of bits here and there were funny. The prescription drug commercial was pretty good, too. I hate the weekend update, though. Ended up going to sleep halfway through it.

A battery case against Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant may proceed. The battery case involves the DEATH of a fan who was hit by Bryant back in November 2005 while attending a the L.A. Lakers/Memphis Grizzles basketball game.

According to legal documents, the victim Geeslin and his friend attended the basketball game at the Grizzles home arena, FedEX Forum in Memphis, TN. The two were seated court side. During the game, a L.A. Lakers player recovered a ball at the Grizzles end of the floor. The player then attempted to pass the ball to Bryant, but Bryant wasn't able to fully control the ball. While trying to control the ball, Bryant came into contract with a Memphis player, as both players careened out of bounds.

As they went out of bounds, the legal documents say that Bryant hit into or onto the plaintiff.

Geeslin alleges that when Bryant got up, trying to get himself back into the game, and then he pushed his forearm into Geeslin's chest in a RUDE, UNNECESSARY manner, which caused the plaintiff's injury. Geeslin goes on to say that that Brant "glared" at him and moved back onto the court without even apologizing for the act.
.Two days later, Geeslin sough medical attention for pain in the chest. He was diagnosed with a bruised lung cavity and received medicines, and a breathing machine. Two weeks later, his symptoms WENT AWAY, but he claimed that he was still suffering, as he was suffering from anxiety, caused by the incident.

After Geeslin's death in June 2008, The Amended Complaint was filed, as it says that the incident was an assault, battery, and an emotional distress for Gesslin.

The district court found that that Gesslin "assumed the risk or consented to the entire contact between he and the Defendant" by sitting court side during the game. However, when Bryant pushed away, after the collision, and then glared over at Gesslin, Bryant "MAY HAVE" caused the injury/stress for the victim.

Also, Bryant never gave any deposition testimony nor an affidavit in opposition to the motion.

It's expected that the case will be settled out of court.
haaaaaaaaaaaaa

I'm not laughing at the dude dieing, but I am laughing at the ridiculousness of the accusations.
