If the Hornets or Wolves don't get a top three pick then I hope we trade both to get a top 3 pick.
It's obviously too early to speculate about prospects and such, but I think it all comes down to the difference in talent level with the picks. I don't want another situation like the Hornets had with Cedric Simmons and Hilton Armstrong.if you dont get a top three pick with either then id KEEP those still. two top 8/10 picks is just as good. one will be a top pick though.
He's taken 71 more shots than his next shootingest teammate, Pau Gasol. He's averaging almost 30 shots a game this month. Bryant believes in shot selection. He selects them all.
And he doesn't care.
"Look, I've played 15 years. I've won world championships. I've done all these things. And people still want to talk about this stupid-a** [stuff]? I'm a scorer first ... I'll try to make the good play, the good pass, kick it out when my teammates are open, but I'm a scorer first. I may shoot 27 times. I may shoot 20 times. Nobody complains when I shoot 10 times. You don't hear ME complaining when I shoot 10 times. It just depends on the game, you know?"
Yes, but Kobe, according to ESPN research, you have the highest "usage rate" -- that's the number of possessions a player uses per 40 minutes -- in the NBA. In fact, your usage rate (38.9) would be the highest in the 3-point era of NBA--
--"Yeah," he says. "And I also have five rings."
Yes, but Kobe, stats show that the Lakers are 29-4 when rising star center Andrew Bynum scores 20 points. Shouldn't it be a high priority for you to--
--"That's great. How many of those shots come from me kicking it to him for good looks when I'm being doubled?"
great."Chris would've created shots for me. I wouldn't be shooting 29 times a game. I'd be shooting 40. Man, what would people be saying THEN?"
To New York, Miami, LA Clippers, or Chicago most likely when he does. When does Kobe Bryant request a trade this season?
I'm sorry man you can say what you want but Jimmer has looked pretty bad so far. That oop from Rudy...ahhhh soooo nice. Good to see Faried out there.
Also CC you asked what I thought about what someone said.
Jimmer has done pretty good some games (not turning over the ball, shooting 50% from the field (4-6 from 3)) etc. But at times he forces things and turns the ball over. Defensively he needs a lot of work, but thats not a huge surprise, but he is doing better defensively than anyone on here thought he would do.
I'm excited that Westphal is gone, his system was not working at all. But I still see the Kings as a lottery team.
o rly?Lol I love Kobe now.
Yeah that's honestly one of the best interviews I've ever read.o rly?
