I really see why you guys got pissed off with him in 2011, dude's a shit disturber. All series he has been in Kessel's face. I understand that its his job and all, but he gets annoying as fuck. Kessel always dropped the gloves with him last night, and for the first time in his career, Kessel was chirping someone across the box. I hope we dress McLaren in game 4 just to take a run at him. Who cares if McLaren gets suspended.

Baggs, we hate him because he's not on our team. They're fucking antagonists ... they are great at what they do (all of those guys you mentioned). Hell, last night I was even thinking about how if the Sabres signed Sean Avery, a player I grew up hating, I'd probably be pumped.
 
I don't like Marchand because of his comments about Buffalo being the "worst place in the NHL" ... I don't like people talking shit about by city. Same with Brady bashing Buffalo a couple years ago. 
 
I think Kaleta gets an unfair wrap for being a "dirty player". I think people confuse dirty with just trying to play hard, physical hockey. Sure, I can agree that a couple of his hits, most notably the one on Brad Richards, were dangerous, but he never has intent to injure. He's not that guy.
 
It's kinda bullshit that he got 5 games for that and then we see bullshit suspensions. Shanahan is a dumbass ... like Shea Weber not getting any games last year for hulk smashing Zetterberg's head into the glass. THAT'S intent to injure.

For sure we hate him just because he isn't on our team. Leo Komarov plays a similar pest role. Nazem Kadri doesn't have a rep around the league, but the fan base loves him.
