I understand why they call an offensive foul when shooters kick out at defenders, but they just called Parsons for essentially jumping forward on his shot, as many players do. Garrett Temple came from the side and ran through Chandler's legs trying to block the shot and they called it on Chandler. Ridiculous.

I will be the first to tell you that Houston should have walked all over Washington anyway, but when a game comes down to two points, a call like this ends up mattering. What a joke.

At the same time, it's games like this--games Houston has no business losing--that makes me feel like there's no way they're anything other than a first round sweep. A first round series that ends at either 4-0 or 4-1 is not a playoff season for the losing team, imo.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are prepared to sign Derek Fisher on Monday for the remainder of the season, according to sources.

Fisher played nine games this season with the Dallas Mavericks before asking for his release in December because he wanted to return to his family.

Fisher, 38, ended last season with a run to the NBA Finals with the Thunder.
